In 2026, video content is a key element in a well-rounded marketing strategy. Customer demand for it keeps skyrocketing, with 78% of people wanting brands to include more video

Many fall short. But for most businesses the bottleneck isn’t even filming content. The challenge is editing it.

Handling edits yourself using iMovie or an AI video editor? Finding a freelance video editor on Upwork or Fiverr? Opting for “unlimited” video editing subscriptions? Going for all-round video post-production services?

There’s a myriad of options out there.

In this article, we’ll take a closer look at what each alternative includes, what the costs are, and what the best solution for your video editing needs is

And: A detailed look into the ten best services out there right now.

Key Takeaways

Keep reading for the full scoop!

What Are Business Video Editing Services?

Video editing services for businesses help you turn your raw footage into high-level content ready to hook and convert leads. They free up your own team’s time by putting an entire team of seasoned video editing professionals and their industry-standard tools at your disposal.

Typically, video editing services will ask you to share your raw footage and an editing brief. These instructions detail the final video length, target platform and audience, as well as any wishes concerning pacing, style, and overall tone. Pro-tip: Sharing example videos helps editors hit the right note from the get-go!

Then, the editors do their magic and get back to you with a first draft. Usual turnaround times are 48 hours to a few business days for standard long-form videos. For short-form, vertical content like YouTube Shorts, TikToks, or Instagram Reels, many video editing companies offer shorter turnaround times.

You get to review drafts and make revision requests, which are often implemented within 24 hours.

Some video editing services limit revision rounds, but many give you unlimited revisions. Normally, though, it shouldn’t take more than two revisions for you to be happy with the final video.

The first time working with an editor, you’ll have to share a little more feedback for them to know what to aim for. However, based on that, they can attune to your brand voice and instantly hit the sweet spot in future edits.

Going further, some video editing services for businesses offer additional services, especially thumbnail design and channel management for YouTube. Their graphic designers will craft custom-tailored thumbnails to maximize your click-through rates. And their channel managers will handle uploads, video SEO, community engagement, and analytics.

What Different Types of Video Editing Services for Businesses Are There?

That said, there are different types of video editing services out there. And not all are created equal.

First off, there are AI video editors. With the recent proliferation of artificial intelligence, that’s not a surprise. However, the edits these tools produce are typically minimalistic and bland. They won’t help you stand out or capture the human magic of a well-edited, well-paced video infused with humor and just the right effects and transitions.

Want to learn more? Check out our post on AI in video editing. The good. The bad. And the ugly.

Second, there’s the freelance option. Finding a freelancer on Upwork or Fiverr is a very straightforward way to hire a video editor for your business. But it’s not the most sustainable one.

Many freelance video editors are seasoned professionals with finely-honed skills. But they’re also a one-person show. Finding a freelancer with top-notch skills who’s reliable, responsive, and open to work is like finding the holy grail

More likely than not, your freelance editor will be stretched thin between different client projects, struggling to meet deadlines, or simply unavailable at times. Even if they aren’t, they’ll be unavailable when they’re sick or on vacation – and your edits will simply have to wait. Worst case? They’ll simply ghost you.

A frustrating conversation with an Upwork freelancer who delivered shoddy work, ghosted the client, and then refused to do revisions.

The more reliable alternative is to find a video editing company for businesses. Video editing companies pick their teams from a wide range of applicants and vet editors to make sure they’re worth their salt. Plus, most offer guaranteed turnaround times and quality control. If your editor is out sick, one of their colleagues can step in and make sure your projects get finished on time.

Even among professional business video editing services, though, there are differences, especially with respect to the kind of pricing models they offer.

Unlimited Video Editing Subscriptions vs. Project-Based Pricing

The two main pricing models for business video editing services are video editing subscriptions – also often advertised as “unlimited video editing” – and project-based pricing

Subscription models, as you can probably guess, have you paying a fixed monthly rate to get access to video editing services. But heads up – they’re not actually unlimited, no matter what they say on the tin.

Most video editing subscriptions allow you to submit an unlimited number of projects every month. But they still only get edited one after the other.

Some caveats on the websites of “unlimited” video editing services - usually well-hidden in the fine print.

Since your editors will only work on one project at a time, that means you can rack up a significant backlog. Plus, depending on how complex your videos are, you’ll realistically find yourself facing a cap of 4-5 edits per month. That’s factoring in turnaround times, revisions, usual business hours and holidays.

If you’re planning a big marketing push one month, this is a real bottleneck

And if you produce fewer videos one month because your team is engaged with other projects? You’ll still pay your full subscription.

Want more details? Check out our in-depth post on the advantages and drawbacks of video editing subscriptions!

At their core, video editing subscriptions constrain you to consistently produce a set number of videos every month. If you’re actually aiming for that kind of consistency, they can be a good fit.

If you need more flexibility, go for project-based pricing

Project-based pricing is straightforward. You pay on a per-video basis, no matter if you need two videos edited per month or ten. It gives you maximum flexibility, even allowing you to have multiple videos edited in parallel.

Plus: Video editing services that work with project-based pricing also often offer bulk discounts.

Is It Worth Outsourcing Video Editing?

Taking all of these complexities into account, is it even worth outsourcing video editing, especially for a small business?

The answer is a resounding YES!

Unless you already have a professional video editor on your team, the only way of achieving competitive, high-level content is by finding one externally.

It’s absolutely possible to achieve acceptable edits with intuitive, easy-to-learn tools like CapCut or Canva that offer plenty of templates and pre-sets. But ultimately, they’ll be bland and generic. After all, everyone else is using the same templates. And they’ll still swallow up hours of your team’s time – for mediocre results.

In contrast, outsourcing to a dedicated video editing service for business has multiple key benefits.

First, it frees up your team’s time and headspace. Instead of struggling with unfamiliar video editing software to produce amateur edits, they can focus on their core tasks and productivity.

Second, it gives you instant access to the finely-honed skills of a professional video editor with years of industry experience. On top of that, you also get free access to the high-level tools they use – from Premiere Pro and After Effects to Figma – saving software subscription costs on your end.

Most importantly, a full-time video editor doesn’t just have unparalleled editing skills. They can also provide invaluable insights into the latest trends and developments in your niche, helping you stay ahead of the curve.

The bottom line? Outsourcing to a dedicated video editing service for businesses gives you a reliable creative partner to take your video content to the next level.

The Best Video Editing Services for Businesses

Now let’s dive into our list of the best video editing services for businesses. We’ve rounded up this list based on the service range, pricing, and user reviews left for different services. And verified whether they actually edit videos specifically for businesses.

Many video editing services out there are niche specialists – from wedding videos to adventure content. Editors with that skillset would struggle to work on a video ad, a product explainer, or a tutorial. We’ve selected video editing companies whose portfolios prove that they have extensive experience editing business content, for clients ranging from solopreneurs and small businesses to major corporations.

Ready? Let’s dive in!

Tasty Edits

Tasty Edits’ homepage intro video.

The best video editing service for businesses is Tasty Edits, a Nevada-based video editing company with a seasoned team of over 50 editors, video managers, thumbnail designers, marketing experts, and channel managers.

Tasty Edits’ portfolio shows that they cover a wide range of business content, both horizontal and vertical. Marketing and sales, real estate, software development, legal services, personal finance, gastronomy, retail – the editors at Tasty Edits are seasoned pros at working with content across all these niches.

Tasty Edits’ video editing offer includes:

  • A dedicated team, including your personal video editor and video manager, who quality-checks every deliverable
  • Unlimited royalty-free stock footage, music, and sound effects
  • Advanced visual effects and motion graphics
  • Color correction and audio enhancements
  • Real time updates from your editor every 24 hours
  • Unlimited revisions

Guaranteed turnaround times are 48 hours for long-form and 24 hours for short-form videos. Editors work Monday through Saturday and will also get revisions to you in less than 24 hours.

In addition to video editing, Tasty Edits also offers thumbnail design. You get a team of graphic designers ready to craft thumbnails that instantly engage and convert, supercharging your retention rates

Stand-out Workflow Tools

What sets Tasty Edits apart is their proprietary Video Order Management Application (VOMA). Sharing footage and instructions, communicating with editors, reviewing drafts – all of these workflows usually require a lot of jumping back and forth between messages, online storage, and project management platforms.

Tasty Edits centralizes all these workflows in VOMA, a one-stop shop for businesses to handle all of their orders. Here, you can upload your footage, give notes to your editing team, leave feedback on drafts, and download final deliverables.

Custom-built based on the feedback of dozens of video creators and business owners, VOMA is a centralized portal for all video orders.

Finally, Tasty Edits also offers channel management for YouTube. This video editing service doesn’t just hand over the final deliverable and calls it a day. Instead, it offers to upload your content, optimize it for the algorithm, handle audience engagement via comments and Community Posts, deep-dive into analytics, and run industry and topic research.

To maximize the amount of data-driven insights the company can provide to clients, it has also recently developed proprietary AI and machine learning tools that harness analytics data and contextual information.

At its core, though, Tasty Edits’ service shines thanks to its team – they’re responsive, warm, and efficient. Channel management clients also benefit from weekly check-in calls

Pricing

In terms of pricing, Tasty Edits grants maximum flexibility through project-based pricing. Long-form videos start at $278, short-form ones at $80. Thumbnails come at $43. (Because it’s ongoing work, YouTube channel management is a subscription, starting at $1,266 monthly.)

This per-video pricing makes budgeting straightforward and ensures that you only pay for the edits you actually need. No matter if you plan a major marketing blast with 20 videos, or have a light month with only a product demo or two, Tasty Edits’ team has your back. They also edit multiple videos in parallel without any extra charge.

Best for: Tasty Edits is the perfect video editing service for businesses of any size that prize flexibility, scalability, and reliable, high-level editing. This service also offers further post-production services, including thumbnail design and channel management, and edits multiple videos in parallel without any extra charge.

DesignCloud

Another top-rated video editing service for businesses is DesignCloud

Based in the UK, it offers not just video editing but a broad range of graphic design, branding, and UI/UX design services with all-round business support. If, in addition to videos, you also need a stellar team to help with digital ads, social media graphics, brand collateral, web design, or app design, DesignCloud is the best solution for you.

One of DesignCloud’s strong suits is just how personalized their services are. This is not a simple sign-up, place-order, get-going kind of deal. You first book a demo, then get an in-depth onboarding call where you are matched with the designer or editor who best fits your needs. Then you’re all set to start submitting projects on the cloud. Communication happens via Slack.

DesignCloud’s video editing offer includes cuts and transitions, audio-enhancements, titles, captions and lower thirds as well as end screens and color correction. Plus, you get unlimited revisions and turnaround times of one day (for simple edits – for more complex projects editors will take longer).

Pricing at DesignCloud is subscription-based, with a standard subscription giving you access to the time of one editor. (If you want multiple projects edited at the same time, you have to pay for a second subscription.) How much subscriptions cost depends on the level of editing you need.

The Essential plan, at £899/month (approximately $1,070) includes basic edits and motion works, GIFs and loops, and logo and text animation. It’s great for social media video, digital ads, and user generated content (UGC). If you want more complicated video or motion works, animated infographics, UI animation, product demos, or explainer videos, you have to opt for the Agency plan, at £1099/month (approximately $1,470). And if you also need podcast edits, showreels, complex motion work, rotoscoping or editing, the Pro plan is the best fit for you, at £1299/month (approximately $1,730). Plus, if you subscribe for several months at a time, you get discounts!

Best for: Businesses with graphic design needs beyond video editing, who need medium-complexity edits, and have very regular monthly video production volumes. (Bonus for UK-based businesses since there’s a time zone match!)

YourVideoHub

Next up on our list of the best video editing agencies for businesses is YourVideoHub, a budget option if you only aim to cover basic needs.

Like Designcloud, YourVideoHub offers subscription-based pricing at three different tiers – Starter, Professional, and Enterprise. The Starter tier ($399/month) they only recommend for individual content creators.

For small businesses with consistent needs, the solutions they offer start at the Professional tier at $699 per month. This includes advanced color grading, custom text and graphics, basic motion graphics, and 24-hour turnaround. You also get five rounds of revisions as a set standard. Like Designcloud, YourVideoHub only edits one project at a time. In their service overview, they claim to be able to handle up to 8 videos per month on the Professional plan, but this is optimistic, even for exclusively short-form content, given standard turnaround times, revisions, and business hours.

Plus, if you require more complex edits, you need to opt for the Enterprise plan, at $1,249 per month. This includes premium color grading, advanced motion graphics, as well as custom intros and outros, and 10 rounds of revisions.

As a budget option, YourVideoHub’s workflows are a little less refined. For example, you’re expected to share raw footage via WeTransfer or DropBox rather than a custom platform. You also only get a dedicated video editor if you opt for the “Enterprise” plan – otherwise editors may vary between projects.

However, it’s still a solid option for businesses with very limited budgets. And from their portfolio – featuring ads for vegan burgers, a demo for a new line of sneakers, and corporate brand videos – it’s clear that they have solid experience editing business content.

Best for: Businesses looking for budget-options with editing needs that only require limited complexity.

VeedYou

Another contender on the list of the best business video editing services is VeedYou, based in the EU. It offers all-round video editing geared towards small business needs, though they have some solopreneur and enterprise clients as well.

They specialize in editing videos for social media, especially YouTube, and are also seasoned experts at editing business podcasts. Their service range includes color correction, audio enhancements, animations, lower thirds and closed captions, visuals and graphics, and vertical reformats of long-form videos.

One of VeedYou’s strengths is their personal touch. You won’t find pre-calculated pricing packages here – instead, their services are highly personalized and matched to your budget. (Though according to an overview blog post on their website, you can expect to pay around $325 for an average long-form video. You can also find example quotes on their homepage.)

Turnaround times are 24 hours or less for short-form and 48 hours for long-form videos. Another perk: There’s no limit on the raw footage you can submit!

Best for: Small businesses with limited video volumes that prioritize a personal touch and individual quotes.

Visugu

visugu homepage screenshot

The next entry on our list of the best video editing agencies is Visugu, which offers both project-based and subscription pricing.

Their editing services include the standard range of audio and color correction, free stock footage and audio, cuts and transitions, and animated text. You also get unlimited revisions, no matter which pricing model you opt for.

For the single video, you pay $249 per edit. For the subscription models, it’s $699 for the Casual and $999 for the Director plan. The Director plan has a few perks that the Casual one does not offer, including a dedicated account manager, 4K footage support, transitions and lower thirds, and intro and outro creation. One major upside of the two subscription options: You get a free thumbnail with your video.

The reason Visugu isn’t higher up on our list is that their turnaround times are relatively slow. For the single-video edit, it’s 5 business days. For the Casual plan, you’ll have to wait 3-4 business days. And at the Director tier it’s 2 business days. (Keeping in mind that editors work 5 days a week.) In addition, these turnaround times are indicative. The website does say quite clearly that ultimately “turnaround time is dependent on complexity of the editing job and only on business days.

Best for: Businesses who are not in a hurry, need occasional edits, or want to opt for subscription services with the possibility of paying an add-on for simultaneous edits.

Creatorly Media

Are you mainly targeting YouTube with your business video content? Then Creatorly Media is a solid solution for you.

Specialized in YouTube content, it offers a wide range of services to help you succeed on the most popular video platform on the planet.

Creatorly offers three different subscription pricing tiers. The Signature Cut ($900/month for two videos, $1,700 for 4 videos) is targeted at talking-head videos, and educational content. Think product demos and explainer videos. It includes jump cuts and pacing, text overlays and simple graphics, audio cleanup and thumbnail design. And – crucially – Creatorly’s team will also optimize your title and video description as well as uploading and scheduling your video for you.

The Director’s Cut ($1,200/month for two videos, $2,300 for 4 videos) adds advanced motion graphics, layered text and graphics, and stronger b-roll integration for dynamic storytelling.

Finally, the Short-Form Cut is suited for businesses that want to aim at vertical content. For $2,000/month, you can get up to eight Shorts.

All of these retainer packages also offer a monthly editor check-in call, a performance review, and access to a resource hub and weekly creator newsletter.

Another aspect that makes Creatorly stand out: They edit videos in Spanish

Not sure yet? Creatorly offers a single-video trial edit for $450 at the Signature Cut Tier and $600 at the Director’s Cut Tier.

One major downside: Creatorly does not always take on new clients. You have to reach out and apply.

Best for: Businesses targeting YouTube with set editing needs of 2-4 long-form videos per month, who also need support for thumbnail design and video SEO optimization.

Increditors

increditors

Specialized in the needs of larger companies, agencies, and corporations, Increditors is a comprehensive video editing and design service.

They offer a large range of post-production services, from sound design and animated explainers to advanced visual effects. In addition, they provide services such as storyboarding, scriptwriting, and voiceovers. Some of the example projects they list include media kits for healthcare brands, high-ROI explainer videos, and maximum-conversion UGC ads.

The major drawback of Increditors is their pricing – which is pretty high. They make it very clear that they don’t work with low-budget clients (or low-quality footage for that matter!)

While you have to reach out for a quote to get an exact idea of how much you’d pay, they charge around $4,000/month for full-time video editing support, $4,500/minute for explainer videos, $500/30 sec for animated reels, and $35,000 for an all-round media kit (including pre- and post-production.)

Not ready to commit? You can ask for a trial edit, which will cost you between $250 and  $1,000.

Best for: Mid-sized to large businesses with a generous video editing budget who are looking for exclusive editing services.

Video Husky

video husky homepage screenshot

Are you looking for someone to edit straightforward, talking-head videos with no-nonsense cuts and transitions and little extra frill? Then Video Husky is the right service for you. It specifically targets the needs of solo creators as well as SMBs and has edited ads, real estate videos, interviews, reviews, and tutorials.

Pricing at Video Husky is flexible, working either through fixed packages or credits.

Subscription packages buy you a certain amount of an editor’s time each week. The $849/month “Eskimo” package gives you 10 hours, the $1,590/month “Siberian” package gives you 20 hours, and the $2,749 “St. Bernard” package gets you 40 hours. There are also differences with respect to footage limits, final export running time, and resolution.

Credits are more flexible and cost-effective if your video editing needs vary over time. You can purchase a fixed amount of credits (between 5 and 50 at a time, with a baseline price of $45/credit) and then use them for projects of different complexities. A simple vertical reformat of less than 60 seconds may cost you 1 credit, while a multi-camera podcast of up to 20 minutes is 4 credits. Heads-up: Credits are only valid for 6 months!

All editing offers include two revisions. Turnaround times are difficult to nail down and not guaranteed, though Video Husky’s website claims that most customers get first drafts within 1-3 business days.

Best for: SMBs who want flexibility between subscription-based and credit-based pricing, with no-frills editing needs.

VidChops

vidchops homepage screenshot

Another entry on our list of the best video editing services for businesses is VidChops, a long-standing, well-established video editing agency. Straightforward and no-nonsense.

Like other services on this list, VidChops offers subscription pricing at three different tiers. The highest tier essentially gives you a full-time editor (40h/week) as well as an account manager and same-day turnaround.

The other two tiers work on a credit system, with one credit worth either one long-form or four short-form edits. Depending on your tier, you get either 4 or 8 credits per month. Other limitations include a maximum of three revisions, 45 minutes of raw footage, and 15 minutes of final video.

In addition to video editing, VidChops also offers a YouTube helper service as an add-on, which includes thumbnail design, tag selection, and title and description optimization.

The reason VidChops is fairly far down on our list is that their pricing is not particularly transparent. In order to have the privilege of checking out their prices, you have to hand over your email (then confirm it!) and your phone number (automatically opting into marketing messages). A bit annoying but we did the work for you. Spoiler alert: You’re looking at $495-$1,700 per month.

Best for: Small businesses with basic editing needs, who need extra help uploading videos to YouTube.

BeCreatives

becreatives homepage screenshot

Rounding out our list of the best video editing services for businesses is BeCreatives, another subscription-based editing service.

It provides a combination of services offered by other subscription editing companies. Pricing ranges from $899 to $4,999 per month with a wide range of included services. All editing packages include color correction, unlimited revisions, animations and motion graphics, stock footage, and captions.

The main difference lies in the turnaround times and the level of communication you can expect. At the basic “Scale” plan, turnaround times are estimated at 2-3 days, but can go up to 5 days for longer videos (even then, these are estimates, not guarantees). You also have no real-time communication with your editor. For that, you have to upgrade to the Pro Plan ($1,999/month) or the full in-house team ($4,999/month). Here, you can expect turnaround times of 1-3 days and you get access to Slack to keep in touch with your editors.

Best for: Businesses who want to keep communication to a minimum and are not in a hurry. (Or who are prepared to pay a premium for responsiveness and speed.)

How To Choose the Right Video Editing Service for My Business?

Given all these details, choosing the right video editing company for your business can seem like a major challenge.

It’s tricky – that’s true. But absolutely doable if you focus on a few basic priorities.

First – pricing.

Is your video output completely regular and predictable? Then a video editing subscription may pay off. Does it vary from month to month? Opt for project-based pricing

Second – service range.

How complex are the edits that you need? Do you need only video edits? Or also thumbnail design, channel management, or additional UX/website/graphic design?

Opt for a service that covers all your core needs without bogging you down with additional charges for services you won’t use.

Third – service quality.

This you can judge via reviews. All the services on our list are top-rated on Google, Trustpilot and Yelp. But beyond that, it’s well worth looking into what past business clients have to say about individual contenders. Do they appreciate how responsive and warm editors are? How efficient and fast? Or how complex their edits are?

Fourth – portfolios.

When all is said and done, a key step to picking the right video editing service for your business is to delve into the portfolios of different video editing companies and check out the examples they list there. Specifically, you need to verify that they have worked on content from your niche or adjacent niches, and that the style of the edits they feature matches your expectations.

How Much Do Business Video Editing Services Cost?

How much business video editing services cost ultimately depends on the pricing model you opt for, the complexity of edits you need, and the length of your raw footage and videos.

When it comes to per-project pricing, you can find excellent, professional video editing services for around $300 per long-form and $80 per short-form video (YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram Reels). The big advantage of this pricing model is that it gives you maximum flexibility, no matter how many videos you aim to produce in a month.

For video editing subscriptions, it is a little more complicated as these offers vary wildly with respect to how many video orders you can submit, what turnaround times are, and what levels of editing complexity are included in each plan. You can get very basic subscriptions for around $700 per month, but these usually only give you 3-4 videos edited at a very minimalistic level. For business-grade editing – including more extensive effects, motion work, transitions, captions etc. – you can factor in at least $1,500 per month

Even then, though, you can only have one project edited at a time and often face a considerable backlog. This is problematic, especially if you plan a big marketing push. In contrast, in months when you produce fewer videos, you still have to pay the full subscription.

The Bottom Line

Choosing the right video editing service for your business is challenging. But it’s well worth investing the time and effort to do it right.

Taking a few hours to thoroughly compare offers, check example videos, and reach out to a couple of different services can help you save tons of money and frustration down the road. It will help you avoid getting unexpectedly trapped in the fine print of not-so-unlimited video editing subscriptions, or ghosted by editors you thought had your back.

Ultimately, choosing the right business editing service is a long-time investment in success. It will give you a reliable creative partner, insights into the latest industry content trends, and professionals who’ll attune perfectly to your brand voice.

FAQs

The best video editing services for businesses are TastyEdits, DesignCloud, and YourVideoHub.

If you hire a freelance video editor off Upwork, you can probably find someone for as little as $50/video. However, these editors are rarely worth their salt and usually deliver hurried, AI-generated work. For professional video editing, you can expect to pay around $300 per long-form and $80 per short-form video.

To find the business video editing service that best fits your needs, check out the portfolios of video editing companies and verify they’ve edited content in your niche. Verify that their pricing model matches your needs – for example, if your video output volume varies across months, you should avoid video editing subscriptions.

A video editing service takes your raw footage and delivers polished content ready to be uploaded. They implement color-corrections, audio enhancements, cuts and transitions, VFX, titles and captions, and add music and sound effects.
In contrast, a video production company also handles filming for you. They often also offer services like video ideation, research, and script writing.

The best video editing company for businesses is Tasty Edits. Based in the US, they have a seasoned team of over 50 video editors, video managers, marketing experts, thumbnail designers, and channel managers. They have solid experience editing videos for solopreneurs, small- to mid-sized companies, and corporations across a wide variety of niches, including finance, real estate, gastronomy, tech, and retail.

Which types of videos editing services can handle varies wildly between companies. Some are specialized in individual niches, like weddings or travel. Others are more generalist and will edit pretty much anything. To find a service that matches your needs, check their portfolios and verify they’ve edited content in your niche (or adjacent niches) before.

Usually, turnaround times for long-form videos are around 2-3 business days and for short-form videos 1-2 business days, depending on the video editing service. Some offer express delivery for an additional charge.
