Our Work for Automation Helpers

Why did you start working with Tasty Edits?

Dan Leeman: I first worked with an editor who brought a lot of subject-matter expertise to the table, but that didn’t really work out. He was a channel owner in a similar space who offered to edit my content. I figured that he knew what I was talking about and that would make things easier. However, we really struggled getting consistent results.

I remember putting together these elaborate guides, and I’d give this to them and then they still wouldn’t do it accurately. I found myself probably doing seven drafts on average for a 15 minute video. And it was so frustrating because wasn’t saving any time.

That’s when I decided to start looking up different services. I thought: β€œWhat if we try a company that doesn’t have subject matter expertise, that is just a video editing company.” I came across you guys and your pricing structure was really awesome and transparent. I loved not having to worry about the number of edits or revisions.
β€œIt was suddenly like she could read my brain. We would put a video together and it would suddenly turn into a one-draft-publish.”

What has your experience been working with Tasty Edits?

Dan Leeman: What I really appreciate is that once we had one or two drafts under our belt, and I was working with the same editor, it was suddenly like she could read my brain. We would put a video together and it would suddenly turn into a one-draft-publish.

Sometimes we still have to work out some details, but I wouldn’t be sending over 27 revision notes for a 15 minute video. She would do it perfectly the first time and then I would just be like: β€œYeah, let’s use a different animation here.” And that’s it.

That has saved me three or four hours per video and if we’re doing two or three videos a week. I mean it is huge. I’m saving 25% of my time. That makes all the difference.

Now we’re feeling like we’re operating on all cylinders here.

I have recommended you to several people. You guys provide an amazingly consistent level of quality and at an affordable rate.
