What is VOMA?

VOMA simply stands for Video Order Management Application.

And it does exactly what it says on the tin.

With VOMA, creators can manage their orders in one central spot, and have all the information they need at their fingertips.

Today, it’s easy to mix and match platforms to deal with any kind of task – but it’s rarely an efficient use of your time. Here’s what that often means for a video order:

  • First, most video editors and video editing companies ask you to fill out order forms.
  • After that, you have to communicate with them via email or various messaging platforms.
  • In addition, you need to transfer files using platforms like Google Drive, pCloud, or Dropbox.
  • Finally, there’s payment – often via PayPal, Stripe, or some kind of website integration.

Jumping between all those different channels can easily become confusing. And this goes for both creators and editors.

VOMA eliminates these difficulties.

The new platform centralizes all the different workflows involved in outsourcing video editing, minimizing friction losses and headaches.

With VOMA, you can submit new orders, submit files, manage payments, review drafts, and communicate with editors – all in one place.

Exploring the VOMA Interface

The central VOMA interface for creators looks like this:

creator dashboard - here you can manage all your orders with the video editing company with VOMA

This dashboard gives you a concise overview of all your orders and their status.

Every order has its own order space. Here, you can see your order details, the files you submitted, the messages you exchanged with your video editor, and the various drafts of the final video.

When the status of an order changes, you’re automatically notified via email – for instance, when a new draft version is ready for review. You won’t have to wait for the editor to tell you about it!

In your personal profile space, you can specify your contact details as well as channel assets. These include your logo, intro sequence, or any other graphics, audio files, and video elements.

Submitting a new order is easy. All you need to do is click Start New Order and you’ll be forwarded to a new submission space. Here, you can specify details like the target platform, video length, and tone, set a return date, link example videos, etc.

Payment works through VOMA as well. Instead of paying a flat fee per video or shelling out for a subscription, you can purchase credits in advance. Then, each video will be billed in credits.

The amount of credits needed depends on video length and the complexity of the edits you need. If you purchase a larger number of credits, you’ll also get a bulk discount!

What's a Reformat?

A Vertical Reformat is a highlight or teaser video designed for vertical platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. It’s an Add-on to a Video Order.

For example, if you want a horizontal video for YouTube and a 60 second vertical version for Instagram Reels then you’ll add 1 Vertical Reformat Add-on to your Video Order.

Vertical Reformats are cheaper than vertical videos by themselves because we’ve already edited the horizontal video so we’re not starting from scratch.
